The SkillGrader assessment process consists of four distinct stages. As an assessment progresses through these categories, it eventually reaches the "Submitted" stage; only then are the results synced to the back end and made available for viewing through the Dashboard.
Here is a breakdown of the 4 stages:
In Prep: The "In Prep" stage signifies that your assessment and participants are selected, but the general timer hasn’t started. This stage allows assessors to pre-configure sessions in advance, ensuring that when it’s time to begin, you are only two clicks away from starting.
In Progress: An "In Progress" assessment is one where we have selected our assessment and participants and then begun the assessment. To begin the assessment you must click on the "Start" button in the upper right hand corner of your assessment window. Any assessment that is closed after the start button has been activated and before the "Finish" button has been selected, will be listed as "In Progress".
Completed: An assessment reaches the "Completed" stage once all indicators are filled and the "Finish" button is selected. This action finalizes the data entry phase and transitions you to the results page, where you can perform a final review of the performance data and access the "Submit Assessment" button.
Submitted: The "Submitted" stage is the final step in the SkillGrader workflow. Moving an assessment to this stage triggers the data sync to the back end, making the results available for analysis on the Dashboard. To finalize the process, you must select the "Submit Assessment" button from the results page. To ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity, all assessments must reach this final stage; no assessment should be left in the "Completed" category indefinitely.
